The new Microtech LUDT RAM‑LOK – Stonewash M390MK Blade – Frag Aluminum Handles

The legendary LUDT finally arrives in its long‑awaited manual configuration with the new RAM‑LOK system. For decades, the LUDT has been celebrated as one of Microtech’s most dependable workhorse designs, but its automatic deployment limited legality in many areas. This manual evolution changes everything — delivering the same rugged reliability while making the platform accessible to far more users.

Instead of the traditional push‑button auto, the RAM‑LOK LUDT features dual thumb studs for crisp, deliberate manual deployment paired with Microtech’s rock‑solid RAM‑LOK bar lock. The result is a fully ambidextrous interface, complete with a reversible tip‑up pocket clip for both left‑ and right‑hand carry.

The ergonomics remain classic LUDT, but the handle receives a major upgrade: replacing the old traction tape inserts are aggressive Frag‑machined aluminum patches milled directly into the 6061‑T6 frame for lifelong grip and tactical control.

Finished with a flat‑ground Bohler M390MK drop point blade in a durable stonewash, the LUDT RAM‑LOK is a legally versatile, incredibly robust evolution that honors its heritage while engineering for the future.
