Emerson Knives - EX-100 Prototype SF - Front Flipper - Extremely Rare and Discontinued - Comes from the Lost and Found of Emerson Knives!
From Ernie Emerson on this design
"Sometimes things work out just fine. Sometimes not quite what you wanted but close. Just not close enough. This is a prototype model of a blade design I was trying out. I made several of these to try a twist on an around turn opener, but for reason we build prototypes, it actually works but is a little too labor intensive for my standard for an easy to use working tool. I’m putting one of those almost right, but not quite, designs up here as a prototype design that didn’t make it past the design phase."
